Posts from the Mornington. Category

On break from taking pictures of the Mornington Railway Station I came across this patch of Daisy’s, I think, amongst some overgrown grass. Using the 50mm lens I was able to push the F-Stop/F-Number, I believe I opened it to 1.8, which allowed me to single out my focus point. Again I was using the polarized filter, and also with some post production tweaks in Adobe Lightroom I was able to capture a true wonderland. Enjoy

Friday that just passed was one for the history pages, several bottles of wine, five or six wood-fire pizzas and a cheeky cheesecake to top it off. The Montalto Vineyards is located along the Mornington Peninsula, little over 30 minutes from our house in Mount Eliza. Montalto Vineyards is great for young and old, from formal to casual, the location could cater for most events. On a good day you will find your-self sitting there with the sun in your face with no care in the world but for the wine you are sipping on. Three hours had passed before we found ourselves glancing down yet another empty Pinot Noir bottle neck. The day was great, great company, great food and awesome wine. I took my camera along to document the event so here are some pictures for your entertainment, enjoy.
